Career Center Programs: Summer of Success

Finding a job can be tricky – especially in this economy. We know what it’s like and can help, though. In fact, that’s why The Career Center has created the Summer of Success ( workshop series. This new series includes three workshops that have been tailored with you in mind. Attend just one or for a most successful summer, attend all three!

* JUNE 23 – Career Launch Workshop
This 4 1/2 hour workshop combines three of our key graduate workshops into one half day.  This intensive workshop will help you write your cover letter and resume, teach you to effectively conduct a job search and give you tips and techniques for interviewing with success. All this for only $30 ($25 for UWAA members) and lunch is included!

* JUNE 18 & 21 – Dependable Strengths Seminar
Created especially for recent graduates and alumni, this seminar helps you identify your key unique strengths and learn how to leverage them to find a satisfying and enjoyable career. Limited to only 15 people, the workshop runs all day on Friday June 18 and Monday June 21 for $200 ($160 for UWAA members).

*  JULY 27 – E.N.G.A.G.E. Your Life
This 6-hour program is all about you. Whether you’re uncertain about your next steps or just not sure what you’d be good at, this workshop will help.  Through a fun and interactive process, you’ll identify your marketable skills, create a personal “marketing pitch”, perfect your interviewing techniques and build an eye-catching resume to get you on your way.  Register today for $40 (includes lunch).
