GRANTS AND FUNDING INFORMATION SERVICE (GFIS) – FALL 2011 FUNDING WORKSHOPS
*Funding Your Graduate Education Workshop* There is no question that the funding of higher education, particularly at the graduate level, is an ongoing challenge for most students. However, there are strategies you can learn and employ to increase your funding resources. In this workshop you will learn some of the basic categories of funding and learn how to identify and search for potential funding sources.
Also, the earlier you get started the better. This presentation is ideal for new graduate students as well as students midway through their studies. It is also excellent for advanced undergraduates or anyone considering applying to graduate school in the future. This general funding workshop is offered by the Grants and Funding Information Service (GFIS).
This workshop will be offered twice at the beginning of the Fall quarter.
