The Online Learning Team would like to invite you to the next online training sessions for students for this quarter. If you would like to become an advanced user of Adobe Connect, then this is the workshop for you!
Meeting Virtually: Advanced Adobe Connect
Wednesday Feb 8 at 6pm PST, repeating Thursday Feb 9 at 4pm PST.
We will be offering the same workshop twice, for those who might have schedule conflicts. Please join us next Wednesday Feb 8 at 6pm PST or Thursday Feb 9 at 4pm PST. We also plan to post a recording of the session.
This workshop will give you the skills to manage the advanced features of your Adobe Connect virtual meeting room. At a minimum, Connect can be used to hold virtual meetings, give and record presentations, stream presentations live to the web or stream a remote speaker live into your events allowing for interaction with participants. Participants will need their own room: if you haven’t already requested yours, you can do so at http://ischool.uw.edu/adobe_connect
At the end of this session participants will be able to:
- modify existing layouts
- create new layouts
- edit a recording
- use the different Pods
- use Breakout rooms
- manage users
- create additional meeting rooms
- synchronize PPT slides for presentation/lecture capture
These workshops will take place completely online in Adobe Connect so as long as you have time and access to the Internet you can attend. We will meet in the Online Learning Team Connect room at: http://uwconnect.adobeconnect.com/isolt.
