Career Services Advising for iSchool students is now available! This weekly newsletter is your source for career-related information, events, and featured job opportunities. You can also now make an appointment for individual career advising. What kinds of support does iSchool Career Services offer?
– Help with job search strategy and techniques for an upcoming search
– Help with specific job application materials like resumes, cover letters, or standard questionnaires
– Preparation for an upcoming interview
– Preparation for a networking event or career fair
– Help determining what you want to do with your iSchool degree
– Figuring out where you might want to do an internship, and connections to resources for more information
– How to leverage your degree to move ahead with your current employer
– Other career-related topics, like negotiating salary or benefits, job search and workplace etiquette, deciding between opportunities, using social media with respect to your career, and many others.
