Apply NOW for the Community Engaged Leaders (CEL) program!

What is the CEL program?

The CEL program is a collaborative program managed by the Carlson Leadership & Public Service Center, Jumpstart, and the Pipeline Project – community engagement programs within the Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity.  The program is a six quarter commitment (Winter 2014 – Spring 2015) that asks students to make intentional commitments to service, participate in two of the Carlson Center’s community-based leadership courses, meet regularly with a staff mentor from one of EXPD’s community engagement programs, and intentionally reflect on their experiences through the creation of an e-Portfolio.  The goal of the program is to help students deepen their commitment to community engagement, develop their leadership capacity for effective and respectful community work, and to help students integrate service into their academic, personal, and professional aspirations.
