The Shobe Prize is an annual startup competition for UW students sponsored by Matt Shobe, Human Centered Design & Engineering alumnus. Winning student teams receive $10,000 in startup funds (or $5,000 each for two teams), office space, and one-on-one mentorship from faculty and industry professionals. To enter, students give a quick pitch of their tech or design idea at the Shobe Prize pitch day in December.

Eligibility: Each team must have at least one student enrolled in any of the UW departments involved in dub.
