Conference: College Librarians and Media Specialists (CLAMS) of Washington State Spring Conference

Planning is underway for the College Librarians and Media Specialists (CLAMS) of Washington State Spring Conference to be held at Everett Community College on May 21-22, 2015.

We are honored that Dr. Joseph Tennis will be delivering the morning Keynote on Thursday, May 21st.

And we would very much like to invite iSchool students to join us all day Thursday to do Poster Presentations in the morning and in the afternoon. (The Jackson Conference Center has a long entrance hall with benched seating, perfect for poster presentations. See pics, below.)

Students we would be especially interested in inviting would be students of Dr. Joseph Tennis, Dr. Allyson Carlyle, Dr. Katie Davis, Dr. Karen Fisher, and Dr. Cheryl Metoyer – to name a few, and especially in areas such as Digital Youth, Knowledge Organization, Information Literacy, Visualization,  and Big Data, and anyone who is planning to work in an academic setting, whether K-12, community and technical college, or college and university.
