Greetings iSchool Students,
Now is the time in the quarter when people are starting to make decisions. These decisions can be about everything from where to move next to which job to apply for or offer to accept. One of my favorite websites, The Muse, had an interesting article about why there are no right or wrong career decisions. If you are finding that you have a difficult choice to make, take a look at this article. I think the advice applies to more than just career decision making.
Please also note that TODAY (Wednesday, 5/13), we are hosting a Contract Consulting Careers Panel in Bloedel 070 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided for attendees. Come and hear from panelists from CampusPoint, TEKsystems, The Creative Group, and Rivet Consulting!
Also, if you are in need of some career advice, you can now schedule an advising appointment with Dean or Alycia on iCareers. We will also be doing drop in hours this week on Wednesday, 5/13, from 2:30 to 4:30, and Friday, 5/15, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Stop by and see us!
Alycia
