KCLS Bothell x Technovation Technology Entrepreneurship Club for Tweens & Teens
The Bothell branch of King County Library System is partnering with Technovation to provide a free technology entrepreneurship club for tweens and teens. We need volunteers to make the club successful.
As a mentor, you would guide a team (ages 10 to 18) as they develop a mobile app to address a problem in their community, write a business plan, and pitch their startup. Mentors can be technical or non‑technical, but need to be at least 18‑years‑old. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to:
- learn more about developing mobile apps,
- experience in an informal educational environment, or
- experience developing and implementing library programs for youth.
Interested volunteers can either apply directly to Technovation or contact Catherine Schaeffer, KCLS North Region: Bothell & Kirkland Libraries Teen Services Librarian (425.486.7811) for more information.
