“I have a hard time asking for help.”
“U.S. academic norms are new to me.”
“How do I get the support I need from faculty?”
Do any of these sentiments ring true to you? These are common challenges many international graduate students face. In this workshop, International graduate and professional students have an opportunity to connect with a panel of faculty members from across disciplines to explore ways to support your academic and professional success. At this workshop, you will engage in activities to assess your mentoring needs, explore ways that faculty can support you to achieve your academic and professional goals, enjoy refreshments, and network with faculty and fellow graduate students
This event is co-sponsored by Core Programs — Office of Graduate Student Affairs in The Graduate School and FIUTS.
