South Seattle College is currently hiring a student success librarian! The South Seattle College library serves the students, faculty and staff of the college as well as community members in the surrounding area. The college offers its diverse student body instruction in a wide range of programs including Academic Transfer, Professional Technical, Apprenticeship, English Language Learning, Adult Basic Education, Continuing Education, International Studies and in three applied bachelor’s programs.
The student success librarian will join a small group of dedicated librarians, paraprofessionals, and student workers who look to provide the best service possible to students and the campus community. It’s a friendly team who love their library and strives to create a positive and affirming workplace.
Within this environment, the student success librarian will focus on library resources and services and college-wide work with information and digital literacy to support student pathways to success. The student success librarian will build relationships, create services, select resources and develop instruction to align with student success efforts across campus.
This position is a 10-month appointment (summers off).
