Build a Business Plan during Winter Quarter!
ENTRE 440/540 – 2 credits (credit/no credit)
Tuesdays, 6-7:50 pm
The Business Plan Practicum brings in experts from the local entrepreneurial community to teach various aspects of creating a startup venture, from idea generation to legal issues to raising capital.
The course is taught by John Zagula, founding partner at Ignition Capital. Students are encouraged to enroll in the course to gain access to course materials, office hours, and workshops focused on financials and crafting a great pitch. Student teams will also have the opportunity to make a final pitch in front of a panel of experts (prizes included!).
Community members and students who aren’t formally enrolled in the course are also welcome to drop-in and learn the essentials of business planning and to hear first-hand from local entrepreneurs. Please note that the first 45 minutes of each evening is a participatory lecture, followed by the featured guest speaker(s).
