Navigating Workplace Culture [Series]: The Search
Kelli’s third Hack Library School (HLS) post is now up! It is part of a series that focuses on navigating the workplace culture within the LIS field. This particular article provides useful advice on how to search for an internship. All of the suggestions, whether it be making a list of your own personal values (to see if they align), researching the organization online or through your social network, or considering the geographic and cultural environment (if the internship is not where you live) are also very applicable to a job search.
Fellowship: Fall Data Science Fellowship Opportunity

Program: The Data Incubator is an intensive 8 week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists.
