The Information School offers scholarships for continuing MLIS and MSIM students to help defray the cost of tuition for the 2019-20 academic year. (Please Note: these funds are not available for the current year. Students graduating in winter, spring or summer quarter are not eligible to apply for these funds.)

New and returning international Master’s and Doctoral students, welcome and welcome back! Join Core Programs for a start-of-the-year celebration with good food and beverages. This is an opportunity to connect and celebrate your graduate school journey.

We all deserve a joyful time of relaxation and connection so come to this event! During the reception, several returning graduate students are going to share pearls of wisdom from their grad school experiences. We look forward to seeing you!

Two opportunities from Osage University Providers regarding tech startups or ideas for tech companies:

The first is a talk by David Dorsey on November 8 from 12-1:30pm and includes a free lunch. The talk is entitled, “Dividing Startup Equity: Keeping a Piece of the Pie.” The details, as well as the RSVP link are attached in the PDF above.

The second opportunity are Office Hours with David. This program is intended for faculty, post docs, and graduate students who are working on building an early stage startup or simply have an idea for a tech company and need advice.

Join Rainbow Grads as we celebrate the start of the school year! Rainbow
Grads invites incoming and current LGBTQ graduate and professional students
and their allies to attend the annual Rainbow Grads Fall Kick-Off
Celebration. This event is our biggest of the year and is a great way to
get plugged in to the queer community across campus as well as to learn
about Rainbow Grads’ social events throughout the year. It’s also an
opportunity to enjoy free drinks, free food, and great music!

The Kick-Off Celebration will be held Thursday, October 8th, 5 – 8 pm in
