StudentOrgs: iEquity seeks co-chairs and representatives for 2018-19

iequity

iEquity is currently looking for interested online and residential students in the iSchool to be our new co-chairs! Additionally, we are looking for representatives from each of the iSchool’s programs: Informatics, MSIM, MLIS, and PhD.

It is the mission of iEquity to provide a safe space for students from ALL identities to engage in dialogue, events, and action around intersectional issues of oppression, as they relate to the UW iSchool. If you would like to learn more about the positions or have any questions, please email Sam Buechler, Logistics Officer, at buechs@uw.edu!

Volunteer: ALISS Spring Book Sale–Volunteers needed!

ALISSBookSale

This Thursday and Friday is the ALISS Spring Book Sale! We are so excited for this event, but in order for it to be as successful as possible we could use some of your help!

We will be on Red Square from 10am-4pm, with set up beginning at 9:30am. All MLIS students are invited to help with this fundraising event. Volunteers can help with set up, making change, and/or tearing down. Sign up for an hour shift here: http://signup.com/go/bVQERzm

If you are unable to volunteer, we would still love to see you! Stop by and buy and book or two to support ALISS.
