Conference Funding: SALALM Conference Scholarship

Deadline: Applications due March 16, 2020.

Since its founding in 1956, the Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM) has engaged in a wide variety of projects and programs designed to advance the scholarly study of Latin America, the Caribbean, Iberia and the Latino/a diasporas. SALAM is offering a scholarship that enables master’s candidates in an ALA-accredited library and information studies program or an archival studies program to attend the next SALALM annual conference, June 5-8, 2020, hosted by the University of California, Davis.

San Gemini Preservation Studies Summer 2020 Field School

Deadline: Applications due by March 15, 2020.

San Gemini Preservation Studies is now accepting applications for their summer 2020 field school. SGPS offers students the opportunity to study and travel in Italy where they acquire hands-on experience in restoration and conservation. There are two sessions and a short intersession program.
