September 21-28, 2016 is iWelcome Week! See our calendar of events, below. It’s all about the student groups!
AIMS (the Association for Information Management Students) is organizing a celebration of Holi, the Indian spring festival of colors and love, together with the Hindu Yuva organization (https://www.facebook.com/groups/hinduyuva.uw/). Holi is celebrated by smearing color powder (‘gulal’) over your loved ones as a symbol of love, prosperity and equality. To make our celebration more fun we are organizing our event at Golden Garden Beach with some fun beach games.
Where: Golden Garden Beach– directions from MGH
When: April 5th, Saturday – 12:00PM to 2:30PM
Few important things:
- Extra pair of clothes – You will need to clean yourself before you can board the bus back home. Also you don’t want to wear your favorite pair of jean and shirt for this event.
- Beach games – Get your volleyball, frisbee, dog to play at the beach
- Colors – You don’t have to worry about it. We will be getting safe organic colors for all of us. Let us know about your favorite color.
Contact Vijay Gaikwad if you have any questions about the event of the Holi festival.
