Events: Workshop on Technology and Global Business – 5/2

The Global Business Center at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, in partnership with AIESEC, an international student organization, is hosting a half-day workshop on ‘Technology and Global Business’, which is open to all students and friends of the UW. The workshop will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015, from 8:30 AM-1:00 PM.

Guests include VP & Treasurer at Apple, Gary Wipfler, executives from Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Uber, CXOWARE, Tableau Software, BoldIQ and more influential leaders from global technology companies who have ties to the Pacific Northwest. Registration deadline is April 24th, registration is required.

Brian Mount, the Software Development Manager at Microsoft Studios will be talking to us about Microsoft’s role in the raging gaming industry. In particular, what’s been going on with the XBOX Kinect. Also, find out more about a day in Brian Mount’s shoes! What is it like to work for Microsoft? Last but not least, find out what YOU can do to be a part of Team Microsoft and give out some recruiting information. And yes, he will collect your resumes.
