The Communications and Information Technology Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is seeking a Research Librarian (Computer Sciences and Data Literacy) to join the IT Services Group located in Richland, WA. This is an extraordinary opportunity to steward and lead strategic direction for the role of research data management [within the publishing lifecycle], research tools and workflows, data sharing. This role will conduct searches of literature; analyze, synthesize, and evaluate data; extract pertinent information; and prepare results/products of material searched via analytical summaries, bibliographic libraries, and bibliometric reports.

Conference Travel Funding: $1200 SPIE Digital Library Student Travel Stipend

Deadline: Applications due by March 15, 2020.

SPIE Digital Library is sponsoring for library school students an award of a $1200 travel stipend toward payment of expenses incurred while attending the 2020 Special Libraries Association conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. This award will be presented at the SLA Engineering Division awards event at the 2020 SLA Annual Conference. Award winners will receive one complementary ticket to the awards event.
